The quality craftsmanship, elegant look, durability, and incredible selection separate 2" horizontal blinds manufactured by Mariak Industries from traditional blinds. Each product is produced with the highest quality metal and polycarbonate components. In addition, all horizontal blinds are built on a roll-formed, heavy duty steel headrail, which further increases the strength and stability of the product. The operating components are secured inside the headrail by means of snap-in fittings. Mariak's cord lock incorporates a stainless steel wear guard and has a "crash-proof" safety feature that locks the blind automatically once the lift cords are released. Both wand and cord controls are available for tilt functions. The wand control developed by Mariak Industries has a worm and gear arrangement and a metal stem that eliminates the possibility of breakage. In addition, the cord tilter is manufactured with an acetal thermoplastic wheel and a steel gear and housing providing for smooth, low friction operation.
Horizontal blinds built by Mariak Industries are available as 2" Basswood, 2" & 2 1/2" Permawood, 2" Fauxwood, and a complete selection of solid, perforated, and decorative 2" PVC materials. Blinds are also available with a variety of design options that include decorative valance, cloth tape, and routless upgrades.
